I Love April :)

This month has always been a favorite of mine. Naturally, the fact that 2 of my sons were born in April has made this month very special for me. One son was born at the beginning of April and the other son at the end of the month, both days being sunny and bright with the endless possibilities that all new life can bring.
My son who was born at the beginning of April was and is a pure joy.....he came into the world with a huge smile and hasn't stopped "wowing" everyone he has met with that smile to this day. I used to sing to him in the hospital (not that I'm much of a singer, but he didn't mind), a song that was very popular at the time, "Just the Two of Us" by Bill Withers and he seemed to love it. It signifies how I feel about him and each one of my special children, who have such unique and distinctive tempraments. He has grown up to become such an intelligent and loving young man with wonderful qualities, one of which is his sensitivity. A rare quality these days, to say the least, but he possesses that rare gift. We share a special bond as I do with every one of my kids and I know that I am blessed beyond belief.
My son who was born at the end of April was the proverbial "perfect baby" and has grown up to be so very special. He would never say this, but many, many people admire him as a role model. Yes, I know I am a bit prejudiced here but that is a Mom's prerogative, right? He came into this world ready for food and it's been that way ever since, yet, he stays slender and fit, but don't even think of missing a meal, no way! He's a terrific son who is always ready to lend a helping hand and to "listen",even when I'm on a roll, he'll patiently listen and that means so much to me.
I don't have any knitting content today, just some reminiscing about days gone by so quickly that it's hard to grasp.....wasn't it just yesterday that a sunny smile would light up my day, and a hug and kiss would make all my troubles fade far away? So, in closing let me say that I wish both of them a happy birthday with many more to come filled with all the joy, love, good health and allthe peace of mind each can hold..........Dad and I love you so very much!
Love, Mom

"The year's at the spring
And the day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hillside's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in his heaven---
All's right with the world."

That is lovely and yes they grow so quickly, happy birthday to your sons.

I reckon they are pretty lucky to have you as their mum and are obviously a result of your love and nurturing.
