Falling Down on the Job

I've been neglecting my blogs, big time! I need a new system or something because there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to do all I want to accomplish. I'm sure you know just what I mean as the time flies by every day. I've been working away on the crocheted sweater in the picture above. No it's not knitting content but since I haven't done much knitting in the past month, there's nothing else to show you. This is the back view since I'm still finishing up the front button bands, neckline and trims, so when they're all completed I'll post another pic from the front. I knit a teeny tiny hat to go with it and the set is for my newest granddaughter, Anna, born on Valentines Day!
I haven't even picked up the Magic Loop sock I was working on. I don't know what I'll do with it but I definitely don't want to frog it. I guess I'll finish but I'm not all that thrilled with the ML method. I thought I'd really like it the way people rave about it, but for some reason it just doesn't do it for me so I guess I'll stick to the tried and true dpns or 2 circs.
I'm using up lots of my stash yarn with my crocheting which is an ongoing pledge I made to myself last year and this. It feels good to finally use up what I purchased several years ago and some of it longer than that. One of these days I'll try to get it all in one place so that I can take a picture of it and you can see for yourselves that I have WAAAAAYYYY too much to ever use up in this lifetime. Some days I feel guilty about that and others I figure I'll give some of it away to those who need it so none of this lovely stuff will go to waste, have no fears.
